Just contact us by email or telephone within 48 hours of receipt and we will replace any missing or damaged items as quickly as possible, free of charge.

Just contact us within 48 hours of receipt and we will arrange for the plate to be returned to us. We will refund to you the cost of the plate but you will be charged £30 for the cost of shipping and handling.

We prepare your plate before sending it to you and block out the centre, leaving the edges for your guests to sign, so this should not happen. But, if a message and signature does appear in the centre, the artist will trace the offending item and replicate elsewhere on the plate where there is space.

Guests may sign anywhere on the plate, apart from the centre. The choice is yours!

Remember to bare in mind how you would like your finished hand-painted plate to be displayed and if you will be able to enjoy the messages and signatures of your guests who write on the back of the plate.

Please browse the gallery to see how previous customers have used the back of the plate to great effect.

On the day, guests can simply rub out their message on the plate just as if they had written it on paper, and start again!

We always ask that you send us a written list of guests’ names and messages to ensure correct spellings in case we cannot read them. All of the pencil marks burn off in the kiln, so any smudges will disappear completely.

By wrapping the plate in cling film before boxing ready for collection, you will help protect the signatures further.

The original packaging was designed specially to ensure your signing plate travels safely. We will not accept liability for any loss or damage if any other packaging is used to return the signing plate to us.

We can supply replacement packaging at a cost of £20 [including delivery]

We aim to dispatch your signing plate to you within 6 weeks of receipt and will contact you in the event of any delays.

‘Crazing’ [very fine surface cracks] can sometimes occur many weeks after the firing process. This does not affect the quality or usability of the final product.

Your ceramic is food-safe and suitable for everyday use but we strongly recommend that you hand-wash it as the heat generated by dishwashers and microwave ovens can sometimes result in ‘crazing’. We also suggest you do not use any sharp utensils on any of our plates.

We only recommend using a standing plate stand for the Large Rounds as they are quite heavy and may not survive a fall! Otherwise all our other plates are suitable for wall hanging, however, always ensure that you use a secure method of fixing the hanging stand.

A full range of standing and handing stands are available from us using the order form.

Please contact us and let us know what you are looking for and we will see if it is something we can do. We are happy to discuss your personal requirements and offer design advice.
